Op 29 januari publiceerde Torleif Sigursson de Esther Award nominaties 2005.

Het ogenblik is aangebroken om de Esther Awards uit te reiken.

Op die maand tijd sinds de nominaties is er nog 1 film uitgekomen die zich ook in het kransje genomineerden had kunnen nestelen, namelijk Sideways van Alexander Payne. Hund i snor houdt die film in petto voor de Esthers 2006.

De stemming voor de Esther Awards 2005 is verlopen onder toezicht van Alex Brulov. De winnaars zijn aangegeven in het groen. De Esthers zullen plechtig uitgereikt worden op een gala-avond in Café Au Daringman in Brussel op vrijdag 18 maart. Black tie !
